Hi can anyone please help

I’am looking for a car that I used to own, my friend was storing it for me and I lost contact with him over time and years later was told it had been sold. The registration is J538 PBT

It’s a Toyota celsior on log book but also known as a Lexus ls400

If anyone has any information about this vehicle or now owns it please contact me. I’am looking to purchase this vehicle back as it holds centmental value

There is no MOT history for the car. Has it been a long time since you owned the car?

An old one of mine  J54DAP  simply vanished way back when the new owner died ……. and the car maybe too ……. they were broken for the engines to live another life and had some good ££££ value

I assume you have checked the DVLA website.

Tax expired May 2004, Last V5 issued April 2006.

If it was being stored I would expect it to show as SORN, so I think most likely it has been scrapped.

You could try approaching the DVLA if they will give you the last keepers details, but they probably won't due to GDPR.
