Can anyone confirm if the 4th gen uses an Aluminium bonnet?  Reason I asked is I've picked up two tiny stonechips which have turned rust brown!

Good point!🤦‍♂️  Yes, it is aluminium.  Can't be rust then.  Odd.

Aluminium does corrode …….. goes powdery to extinction ……. the powder might go brown with contamination I s’pose …… hence there’s almost zero old Rover 2000’s around now
