Which Lexus now ?

Recommended Posts

At risk of being shot down in flames....... IS200t??.   The natural follow up model to the IS250.  As with most turbo cars the engine acts like it has a bigger capacity than 2 litres, more like a 3L...Yes I know about turbo lag having had quite a few different turbo fitted cars, and this one is no different.

The amazing thing is that Lexus think my car is only worth 12 to 14K £.  For a 2017 FLSH  low mileage, immaculate car with no problems at all I found their offer ridiculous. However, if you could actually get a good one for that price I think you would be doing very well.

That's the issue...finding a good one. I am given up now on Lexus and will probably get a boring Toyota Corolla. IS250T would be great but fuel being what it is could be a problem.

yes 24-26mpg normal use and 35mpg on the motorway. Not very good really.

Toyota Corolla is a very good car nowadays. I had the AE86  GT twin cam RWD  LSD in about 1986, same colour as this one. I should have kept it, worth a bomb now! I would certainly consider one.

Buy used 1986 Toyota Corolla GTS AE86 Hatchback, Full JDM Levin ...
