WOW!
With all the component shortages, keys, locking nuts etc. The numerous recalls, dodgy door handles especially in cold weather, sensor failures, the rest of the competition must have been complete rubbish in comparison.

Well, seeing that I haven't personally encountered any of the issues you have listed, I'm inclined to agree with Auto Express.

I think you'll find that Auto Express didn't encounter any of those issues during their test either.

I'm sure they didn't.

I was just giving my experience for the benefit of reason and balance.

Apart from the original supply issues, I haven't had any problems with my NX.

Hopefully in the long term it proves to be reliable and trouble free 😀😀

I did encounter the numerous recalls, including fuel filler flap and winter door handle issues when I had my NX450h and annoying as these issues were (and I did have a wobble at one point!) the professional way they were dealt with by Lexus UK and in particular Lexus Edinburgh was simply exemplary. How problems are resolved are a measure of how great an organisation is and in my experience Lexus have proved their worth.

I would agree 👍

I agree Ken. I think we were living parallel lives at the time of these issues. 😁

Lexus Leeds were very good at dealing with them and i always had a loan car if I didn't want to wait or it was an all day job.

Absolutely delighted with my new NX 350h - no problems at all and the car thoroughly deserves this accolade.

To everyone who hasn't had issues with their new NX, nice one. But, it is a sample of 1. And, I'd assume still subject to the manufacturing recalls too.
I'm talking about the whole production run. As a new model it has not fared well from the start. It certainly does seem (to me at least) that Lexus standards and QC have slipped in recent years.

I come across this article last week too. It was good to hear our choice has been justified! 😄

A very good car indeed. If we ignore the dodgy app which, for me, pretty much never works, I have little in the way of complaint. It does the jobs I ask of it. I shall gloss over the 16 month wait, poor (near non-existent) dealer communication throughout and just focus on the actual car.

A class leader? Well, the only competition I have experience of is the Audi Q5 - which I very much loved owning. We can only talk about our own individual experiences.

No problems with my NX450H+ after a year!

That’s because we sorted out all the problems in the first 18 months!🤪😂

It is probably true that the very first cars get more problems.

Customer testing period 😅😅

I agree, lovely car and reliable...until you need a tyre replacement or as in the recent thread...a new side mirror.

Are the 450h+ tyres hard to find?

There is another thread somewhere here suggesting there is a shortage of the right run flat tyre at the moment

Not sure if they are a less common size. Run flats are less common too.

Hopefully the tyre choice improves before we require new tyres 😀

The only problems I have with my NX450h+ after a year, are closing the tail gate  especially  using my foot and the sound system not always playing via my phone.
