Indicator Volume

Is it possible to increase the sound of the indicators as it is not very loud. I cannot find anything in the hand book so presume this is not possible??

It's possible but not through the Lexus in car settings - it requires the dealer to change it or if you want to do it yourself you will need to purchase Carista (app and OBD dongle) or Techstream. Here is a link to the customisable options that using Carista opens up for the IS: https://carista.com/en/supported-cars/lexus/is/3rd-gen - see under Lights Exterior section which has the option of :

Thank you Phil. My car is in for its annual service at Lexus Liverpool  next week so I will ask them to do that for me.

Agree it is too quiet, especially when the radio is on. Used a cheap ODB2 cable and Techstream to adjust mine to high, even then it is not very loud but at least then you can hear it. If you are paying for a service dealer should throw that in for free, takes 5-10 mins tops to code. The other thing possibly worth changing is the lane change indicator numbers of flashes, I found 7 flashes is best for a slow glide into lane, default setting always seemed to end only half way into a lane change.

I have managed to change the lane change indicator to 7 flashes which is a more practical. Hopefully Lexus Liverpool will increase the volume of the indicators for free during the annual service🤞
