IS300h RHD Center Console Organiser Tray

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys & Gals,

New owner of a 2016 IS300h F-Sport, and absolutely love it so far. Can't believe I didn't consider Lexus for years, such a quality built car.

One thing I've noticed with the IS300 though is the lack of interior storage space.

In the past with my other cars, I've always managed to find some interior organiser tray for the armrest/centre console cubby hole, usually from eBay or AliExpress. Example below;

However, looking at getting one for the IS300 in a RHD configuration is proving very tricky, as they are all for LHD.

Has anybody managed to find something like this for the UK / Irish RHD model ?

Open to other suggestions too for space-saving accessories which don't look cheap or tacky.

Hello Alan and welcome to the LOC.

Lexus are generally well spec’d as standard with cup holders and storage compartments so I would think demand for additional things would be limited hence the lack of availability.

For RHD cars Japan is the source for most “modification” items, they drive on the same side as the UK and like their “gizmos” The big problem is actually buying them directly.

As an example I drive a JDM Toyota Celsior which as an extra has a “trash bin” mounted in the passenger footwell. Made from coloured coded ABS with a removable black innner tray it complements the rest of the interior.

There is one on eBay and the asking price is $200.00 plus shipping from Japan! Crazy money in my opinion.

Check out Yahoo Japan you may find what you need there.

Hi Steve, thanks for the quick feedback!

Yeah I'd agree it's well kitted out. I have my wiring cables for a dash cam and phone charger coming into the console as well as an iPod permanently plugged in. So it would be nice to hide all of that under what essentially would be a shelf in the cubby hole to keep any other random bits.

Strange that I can find plenty of examples for the LHD version but not the RHD version. Oh well 😄

Good advice, I'll look on the Japanese sites to see if they have something!

...

Now if only I could find a perspex bubble for baby seat to keep the car clean 😂
