Hello,

I own a Lexus GS300 2006 model, i drove 30 miles everyday and 5 days in a week with 35 litres of unleaded fuel, can anyone please help if is normal or abnormal for fuel consumption?

Thanks.

Depends what type of journeys you are doing.

150 miles on 35 litres works out at approx 20mpg, which is inline with the quoted figures for urban driving (19.9).

I had a GS300, same year and averaged on local trips about 27mpg and that was in a hilly area.  Long motorway runs gave mid 40's.  20mpg does seem a little excessive imho, unless it was a lot of stop start urban work in that 30 mile trip and I'd expect low 20's.

GS300 can be quite thirsty at speeds above 80MPH and in start stop city driving, but I never managed to get it as low as 20MPG. Worst ever recorded was 21.3MPG, but it was on E85 (85% ethanol which is 30% less power dense than petrol, but for 0.74 Euro can't complain) and I was driving in France at closer to 100MPH, so doesn't quite count. On normal E95 (up-to 10% ethanol), my long term average is ~28MPG, although nowadays I rarely do any city driving. Getting it past ~36MPG also seems to be difficult, even sticking to the speed limits and on long runs.

I would say anywhere between 24-36MPG would be normal.
