Lexus app installed and apparently working on my LBX but whenever the car is started the blue terms of use and privacy notice is displayed. It provides a choice of answers from three buttons and nothing else functions on the screen until a response is given. My Lexus dealer is unable to provide a solution by phone and I wants the car taken to them. Have you experienced this annoyance and if so how was it sorted?

Have you registered a profile and synced it to the multimedia of the car?

You need to hold the key up to the power button for it to register when you go through the process

Also, when you create your password don't have too many special characters as it can be a bit fussy.

I successfully created a long complex password, but just used @ as the special character as advised by another member.

And I would suggest not using a capital letter as the first letter in your password. The shift key doesn't seem to work for the first letter on my screen (for some reason?) I had no problems when I changed the first letter to lower case.

Many thanks for the suggestions but the blue screen remains firmly installed. I wanted to change my password but don't know how to, nor does my dealer....

Hate to be a pessimist but from my old windows NT days the BSOD ( blue screen of death ) was a fatal hardware or system / critical app failure. Are there any logs to indicate the cause? Any way to do a full system reboot back to original parameters ?

With a bit of luck things may have improved since then - Best of luck.

Take a picture of it and post it. It's very easy to sort

Also you can change your password on the desktop lexus website.

Any probs in the future then hold the on/off knob down for 3 seconds and it resets the system.
