New NX350h owner

HI everyone,

I've just taken delivery of a new MY25 NX350h Premium Plus AWD.

The car-buying experience was a bit of a rollercoaster: I ordered the car in mid-May for delivery in September (3 month lead-time quoted by dealer) then 1 week later I had an email from Lexus saying my car had arrived in the UK ! The order status tracker had jumped from 'processing your order' to 'arrived in UK' in 7 days That's pretty good going by anyone's standards for car manufacturing & shipping, though obviously it's one that was built in advance. I've then spent 3 weeks waiting for the dealer to get the registration through as it was a new MY and apparently Lexus had issues getting it set up.

First impressions are that it's an extremely well-built, luxurious car with tons of tech to play with. Can't wait to do some proper driving in it.

Interesting that the Lexus recall tracker says 'We have identified that your Lexus is subject to a voluntary customer service campaign or outstanding safety recall.' but when I queried this with the dealer at collection I was told I have to wait for Lexus to contact me. Ummm.

Only received 1 fob + blade, locking wheel bolts fitted, tyres at 2.5 bar.

Now I just have to order the Battery pack, steering wheel lock, .........

Hi Ian,

I too ordered a new NX 350h Premium Plus with Pan Roof in April this year and I was told there was already one of my chosen spec and colour in the UK - picked it up a fortnight ago. Delighted with it so far - although I would have expected a nicer steering wheel than the bog standard one (we've been spoilt having had a Gen 4 RX Takumi).

As for the key fob - yes, me too, just one. World shortage of semiconductors, we were told.

The Premium Plus should have a steering wheel with touch sensitive panels - the same as on a Takumi (and better than what a standard NX or Premium Pack gets).
