Hi All,

The power lift gate has been sticking on our 2015 NX and was unable to close by itself yesterday.  I'm not familiar with the level of granularity of OBD codes that may be generated in such a circumstance.

Does anyone know if a broken or sticking motorized strut would generate an OBD code?

Many thanks,

Paul

I think this would be covered by the Lexus Relax warranty, assuming you have it serviced at a dealer each year and have done fewer than 100k miles?

Yes, I hope so, Al.  It's just that this morning the lift gate worked ok at the dealer!  (typical!)

Thanks,

Paul
