Like me, you have probably noticed the plethora of adverts on social media for Vipa wiper blades. Thought I would give them a try and at £22.00 was pleased….betcha Lexus OEM blades are much more. Herewith my immediate review……

UTTERLY BLIDDY MARVELLOUS.. !! Extremely quiet and smooth operating. Will report on ultimate longevity as have been taken in before. Pity my fave make of Denso do not seem available for Lexus.

Euro Car Parts stocked Denso wipers, last time I renewed mine .They were also the cheapest at the time.

Mine are NOT HOOK TYPE wipers David….they have a wee clever push button release on them. Is this the case with the Densos?. I checked specifically on ECP site.

I don't honestly remember for sure,,but I think they are the hook type.As far as I remember, most wipers come with an assortment of plastic bits to adapt to the various types of wiper arm.

Yes…had some for the Jag once. By the time I had identified the correct adaptor and fitted it, the adaptor stood off the screen enough to increase wind noise. These Vipas are OEM push button fit

I carried out an experiment and bought one new and complete Denso(OEM) replacement wiper from ECP and fitted this at the same time as replacement rubber only for my existing but split Denso rubber blade.  These have been on the car for about 6 months now and both are OK.  The rubber was appropriately made for my model and I thought for six squid it was worth a punt, notwithstanding the fact that the seller had a reputation for slow delivery etc.  Indeed,  delivery took about a month.   So I think I will splash out and order both left and right this time so I will have spares.  I think the shorter one was only priced at a fiver at that time  These figurers included postage from Eastern Europe but I am pretty sure it was not Russia!

If anymore is interested I will hopefully find the transaction.
