Recall on some 22 plate NX 350h’s

I checked the DVLA recall website last night which is showing a Recall notice for my car. I phoned Lexus today who have confirmed there is a recall for some 350’s, it relates to the front camera!, I don't have a front camera just the sensor which has become erratic in the past 2 weeks, beeping for no reason, I just assumed it was dirt on the sensor and seemed to be ok when cleaned for a few days. Booked in so we will see how it goes. I have not received the recall letter yet.

All series II NXs have a front camera as part of the safety system fitted as standard.

It looks like I have a camera in the module attached to the interior mirror but I do not have the digital mirror as shown in the owners manual, I have one button on the rear view mirror which turns green when on, but I have no other buttons or lights etc on the actual rear view mirror as per the owners manual.

I also went into the actual vehicle settings and only have the rear camera and front and rear sensors.

According to the Lexus checker mine has an outstanding recall, annoyingly it was in for a service on Monday and nothing was said! But the DVLA checker says no recall outstanding ...

My MY 23 NX450 had a Front Camera Recognition software update applied last year. I imagine that's the issue being discussed.

The DVLA checker is showing my car is due a safety recall; the Lexus website suggests it is a voluntary recall. I think the software update referred to by Hayzee was for something different. LFST on Youtube has posted a video in the last few days, albeit about the US/Canadian model. It appears this problem is about the potential ingress of water getting into the camera and possibly causing a short.
