Had dash cams in my cars for years now, so I had the Lexus dashcam included as part of my deal.

From what I have seen of the footage so far I am very happy and it is mounted out of my line of site. 

It does have a parking mode, but I have not turned that on as I do not want to add any unnecessary drain on the 12v Battery  

The only change I made was to turn off the terrible start up/turn off chime.

I'm looking because I am hearing of friends having no fault incidents where they come up worse against delivery vans who then deny everything and it becomes your word against a massive corporation.

I'd get an auto electrician to fit it although finding one willing to fit one isn't as easy as I thought.

The Lexus supplied one is from Nextbase which appears to be more for trucks.  Also looking at Viofo.

Halfords fit the Nextbase cameras and they are really easy to fit so unlikely to be messed up by them (They fitted mine)

Well they just fitted & wired in the front one and I dealt with the rear one later but was pleased with the service and a reasonable guarantee they come with..

For years I have hated “any” sunlight reflection from the dash onto the screen, so after seeing a few Australian car videos where it is quite common to fit something like this I bought one. 

Fits real good, does just what I want it to do & at a reasonable price.
