Navigation Maps Update

Hello everyone I’m the proud new owner of  2020 NX300h. I’m loving everything about it apart from the navigation maps which are out of date. I know I could use CarPlay but I live in remote rural Scotland and travel to Ireland a lot (just back from there after a 1600 mile road trip getting to know the car!) and the mobile coverage isn’t good and it eats data (I have a 3GB monthly limit). 
Can I easily update the maps myself? I asked the dealer with whom I have a service plan and they said they could do it for  £270 which seems a bit unrealistic.

A few years ago I bought a Sat Nav map update on micro SD from  https://www.satnavishop.co.uk  for a fraction of what you were quoted.  At the time I had a 2016 RX 450h and the update worked really well.  Worth a look.

There is another option which is free. When at home and connected to WiFi on your smart phone download the offline map of Scotland and Ireland. Later connect it with apple CarPlay and you will have the map. If you have Iphone the offline map works even better.
