anybody else had this issue and also wondered if covered with the warranty?

thanks in advance for any feedback

Yes, mine is a bit faded too, on 2022 UX 300E

Probably not worth the hassle of trying to get it fixed under warranty if it is even covered.

The rear badge on my 2021 UX250 takumi is also faded  and getting ing worse. I t.hink it should be covered, its not a good look for a so called prestige marque so bad publicity for lexus. I've not brought it up with dealer yet so am interested in any comments. Chester Lad

“It’s cosmetic and therefore not covered under warranty” is the likely response from the dealership.

I don’t understand where Lexus are heading but in my opinion it is generally in a downward direction. From a company that once offered gold plated logo badges as an option to a point, due to possible quality issues, the badge fades within a couple of years.

My car is going into Lexus Bolton for an MOT in just over a week and I have asked them to look into this. Ive got to say really poor that the badge has faded this way in a short period of time, I’ve had lots of older cars than this and never had this issue.

If the vehicle is under 3 years old, and still under manufacturer's warranty then you would be able to get it replaced. It isn't covered under Relax warranty so your only chance is a goodwill gesture from Lexus GB.
