RX450h Front Door Grommet Leak

Hi, I'm looking at buying a 2016 RX450h but noticed that both front doors have a rubber grommet that looks like it seals against a vent on each side of the dash. Both have water residue around them, I'm guessing this isn't normal? What is that seal for? Should I not bother going to look at the car or is this a common issue/fix? Have attached images of each side, any advice appreciated - thanks.

No it should not be leaking water, the grommet connects the HVAC system to air vents in the door to aid de-misting, so it's intended to be air tight rather than water tight.

Might simply be from valeting the interior, water leaks don't normally flow upwards as in the second image?
