Doh! Battery change in key fob.

I was changing the Battery and left it too long, now it doesn't work. Can I get it going again?

Assuming the Battery you put in is good then try pressing and holding down unlock for up to 30 seconds until the car responds.

I just did an experiment.  I used the working fob to open the car, then put it at the back of the house, out of range. Then I got in the car with the non responsive one and tried to start the car.  The car said 'Key not detected', but when I put it by the power button, it started.  Got back out and couldn't lock the car with it.  

 

Holding down the open button for thirty seconds didn't work unfortunately.

you must have a fitted a flat Battery by mistake or fitted it upside down?

Double DOH!  I took the Battery out and then noticed there was a little sticker on the one side.  Took it off, same Battery back in, hey fing presto! ☺️
