Hi

I'll hopefully be picking up a new 450h+ in a couple of weeks.

Are there any recommended things I need to ask the dealer to check/do before I pick up the car?

The reason I ask is that there were 3 or 4 recommended for the Rav4. These were things like making sure the dipped headlight range was correct (it was normally too low) and asking for a continuous press of the door open button on the remote to opens all the car windows.

Many thanks

Hi,

I would suggest the following: ensure that the latest software version 2050 has been installed. Get the dealer to set up the driver account profile to your phone, otherwise you can get annoying pop-ups. I asked to be shown how to disable the alarm sensor for ferry crossings, and how to change the speedometer to km/h. Set up HUD to your preference ie full, reduced or off. How to connect and remove the tow bar (there’s a knack) and how the electrical connection is swivelled into place. I spent time looking through the manual in advance to make up my check list….

All the best

Thanks, I did wonder if the they had improved the connection setup from car to phone/app. I remember on the Rav4 it was pain in 2020 - I was hoping they may have sorted it out in the last 4 years!
