RX450h+ ordered. 2 week delivery!

I was planning to get a 450h+ F Sport Design. It was on order for 1st Sept. 

Went for a test drive today and the wife preferred the standard green colour. So changed order for a Premium Plus. And they have the exact car arriving next week! 

Picking up at the beginning of June!!

Excellent! What interior design did you opt for?

Went for the standard black. They had cream available too. 

Strange thing was, the demo car was a 450h+ F Sport Design, but it had the Nanoe® E aircon that you only get with the Takumi on the 450 (according to the brochure).

Nano E is on both F Sport and Takumi according to the tables at the back of the brochure.

On the 450, the F Sport actually F Sport Design and this is just a styling pack (according to the brochure)

But on the configuration tool it shows it as a difference (compared F Sport Design to Premium Plus) 

Anyway, enough of this 🤣

The version of the brochure linked in the Lexus website doesn’t even show it!

That's the 2023 version. The dealer sent me the 2024 version.

You mentioned previously that  Lexus dealer fitted a towbar for you. Do you mind me asking how much it cost all in?

Hi Stephen, It was about £1,100 if I remember correctly including the wiring and fitment.

Thanks, I think I am being ripped off! I think they are asking £1600 which I thought sounded ridiculous. I think they are trying to claw back money from the discount I got.

Quick update...... 

It seems towbars are VERY expensive to retrofit on the new RX. I got quotes from 2 other Lexus dealerships - one was £1900 and the other £2050. 

Crazy!
