Someone please help. I installed VLAND tail lamps on my IS250, but now my car clicks one time (engine doesn’t even attempt to run) and it won’t start. I checked all the fuses and none of them are blown. I even unplugged them and then tried to start the car, still no. Keep in mind I have a subwoofer and same brand headlights already installed. I tried unplugging those as well and starting, still no. Does anyone have a fix, or should I get it towed to my body shop to get it scanned?

Totally agree, happened to me more than once, doors open so interior lights on for hours whilst carrying out some work resulted in depleted Battery.

Get a mate with some jump leads to pop over.

Sounds like the Battery, for anyone who doesnt know theres a button where the courtesy dome lights are labelled "Door" its always good practice to turn this off when working on the car for long periods of time as it disables all the lights when doors are open which is very handy.

I used a jump box that I had and took out the Battery to bring it to my local mechanic store to get the Battery health checked and that wasn’t the issue.

This may be a shot in the dark but try unplugging the connectors for the tail lights and see if the car can start, from what I remember certain aftermarket headlights (HCMotions specifically) produced a VSC warning due to pre facelift vehicles not supporting LED tail lights out of the box so these came with a resistor to support them.

Could be a similar situation depending if youre pre facelift 09 or post facelift 09 that the tail lights arent necessarily compatible or just straight up damaged / non working

Just got my car back from my shop. They said the lights were blowing my brake fuse.

You'll have defective VLANDS get a refund on them and buy another set they shouldn't be causing any blows

How does the blown fuse explain the flat Battery if I may ask

It’s a push to start, so you need the brake to start the car. The car wasn’t recognizing the brakes, so it wouldn’t start.

I checked the wiring and I saw the coating of the cable was torn. Just put some electrical tape on it, now it works.
