My "project" 1996 LS400 now for sale

For those of you have been following my efforts over the last 4 years, and supplying supporting comments and information, I thank you all. However, I have now reluctantly decided to sell the car, so have just placed an advertisement under the "Cars for Sale" section. I shall miss the car, but probably not the many hours of my life spent on it, although the end result does make me think it was all worthwhile.

The car has now gone to a new owner, who hopefully will enjoy driving it as much as I did. It's still in Milton Keynes, so may be I'll see it from time to time. For those of you who might be keeping an eye on the market, the price was £6,000.

I shall be hanging up my spanners after 60 years of tinkering, the Lexus turning out to be the biggest, and the best, of my many projects, especially since retirement 12 years ago.

Your many skills and great knowledge of these cars just cannot be “ lost “ to us Members I’m afraid ……. you’re a font of knowledge and somehow we must be able to retain your mentoring ……. we and our Ls400s are a dying evaporating breed so please, do find a way to keep this all going ……..
