OBD port

Hello Peeps,

Do you reckon its a good idea to connect to the obd port and access the car controls?

For example I would like to have remote full closure of the windows.

I did exactly this with no issues using My Iphone, and OBD device and an app called Carista.

Does the OBD device has to be Carista?

Looking at other OBD Bluetooth devices for bit less money.

I bought this: vgate iCar PRO OBD2 Bluetooth 4.0 at about 39,00 €

Carista is the app needed to connect to the obd device and make changes

Mine is a basic obd device same as below:

Carista is the app I used.
