RX450h Security

My RX450h is apparently has honour of having the number 2 in insurace claims, so I had the "Security recall" (which I had to ask for) at my Birmingham Dealership.

I thought that would help with next years insurance price. Apparently the work carried out was to stop theives accessing the vehicle electrics.

But LV who I'm insured with will not be rewing the policy.

Have any other members had similar problems?

LV withdrew the full 12 months EU cover a couple of years ago so I renewed with Saga who did - cover was with LV!

Ive since been on Go.Compare & got quotes under £800.

I’ve been on the comparison sites, the cheaper quotes are from Hedgehog, Marshmallow and Nutshell, never heard of them, and not prepared to place my car at risk with an unknown insurer.

I have two quotes now with Tesco and NFU, one80% and £100% more expensive than last year with LV!
