Hi guys

Hope your all well.

I had the drivers side inner and outer tie rod replaced early last year on my 99 ls400, and I want to replace the left side now

Is it true, the left inner tie rod is different to the right hand side? I'm looking online, and the left one seems longer.

Can you not (use string?) measure the existing ones? Then compare with the other side.

It does look slightly longer and different to the one on the right I had replaced. Lexus dont even sell them anymore, I was lucky in got the drivers side from them last year, I'll have to buy it from rockauto.

I found an image on eBay where someone is selling a used LS400 steering rack. The N/S (passenger) tie rod indeed does look a little longer than the O/S.
