Stunning! Unfortunately, well beyond my ability. I have bever worked on glass. I imagine it to be a difficult surface to work with.

today's challenge Stephen ......  turn that thought into reality and go find someone to teach you ......  if you have the time that is  ............  hehehehehe

I had to wait for that sunny day to appear ( Thursday )  before we ventured to Tonbridge and Tudeley church ..........  looks nowt from the outside ......  it has to be with the sun shining thru' the windows ........

I had been there before, maybe 20 years back when I lived in the area

Truly truly    STUNNING

On the same subject many years ago I renovated the main bathroom and we picked the Victorian tile shown in the pic below. At the time I wanted a light fitting to complement it, but struggled to find something and came up with the idea of using glass to achieve my goal. Like I said earlier I think glass is quite a difficult medium and at the time I did some research to to arrive at that conclusion. Ended up creating a drawing and gave that to this old chap locally who worked with glass. He let me watch him create the lighting fixture shown in the pic below. He was old then so I guess he is long gone now, but still that was just one such experience I have been lucky to have in watching someone with real expertise perform.

Yes, nearly 30 years on and still there. Indeed , in October the bathroom will be completely redone, BUT it has all been chosen to build around that same light fitting!

Yes, if I now can just work out where the oil goes into the car all will be well.

I had a Triumph Motorbike, I knew where the oil went in and I could see all the places where the oil came out again.
