Speed limiter on imports

Hi guys,

So I’m thinking of importing an IS350. From what I’ve read, these have the Japanese speed limiter of 112 mph and a speed limiter on the cruise control.  Now this topic has been probably covered here but I’m clueless where to look. Is there any garage in UK that can remove these limiters from the car? If you could, please either point me to the right post on the forum; or state which garages could deal with the limiters for me?

Hi, not sure if you still need it, but most garages that import those cars should be able to do it. At the very least, put a converter chip in to convert kph to mph and remove the limiter. Unfortunately, not many offer odometer correction. Garages like Torque GT, J-PN.UK do the full service.

In case it's any help to you, I imported a 2012 HS 250h with cruise control. The cruise control set speed is limited to 115km/h, but the speed itself is not governed. I've driven the car up to 160kph.
