2024v1 map update released

Just to let everyone know - for MM17 and MM19 systems - 2024v1 maps have been released (based on Q3 2023 map data) and when loaded via USB stick they work fine (as do speed camera alerts - which may not work if on OTA update is done).  It took the usual 65 to 70 minutes to complete.

is there a unique reason for using a Lexus map?  My experience  using it is not good. Its not 100% reliable and fails to reroute properly around roadworks offering unnecessarily lengthy detours. By the time a Lexus update reaches an owner its way outdated. Google /Waze is constantly updated.

 As always the Lexus electronic display and features are poor despite being supplied by Panasonic

In my case map updates are still free (that may be the last one that is though) so no point in not updating it.  It also integrates with the HUD (which on my vehicle AA and ACP do not). You are correct that on MM19 systems the map data is 6 months old when released.
