Has anyone else bought an Original Edition? If so have you received it? And who have you used for insurance?

Hi.

Please feel free to give us a try for insurance if you haven't done so already.

Regards,

Dan.

I tried - I was told that none of your insurers could provide a quote for the original edition either.

Have you got insurance sorted?

Nope! I think I'm going to have to call up one of the black box companies tomorrow and see if I can take out one of their quotes starting Tuesday (the day I'm due to pick it up). Really not excited about that one - I'm going to keep an eye out for other insurance quotes over the next few days/weeks to see if I can switch in the cooling off period.

Call Lexus Customer Relations.  Lexus UK should be liaising with Lexus Insurance to make sure they can offer something.

Just as an update, Admiral are now insuring the Original edition. I have sadly already taken out an insurance policy with Tesco Bank Box to collect the car (it is lovely but I didn't take any pictures yet!), but I will be cancelling that to switch to the Admiral policy as soon as possible - £600 cheaper with no black box.

I’m with Direct Line.
My policy with my NX300h was £456.69. This increased by £51.92 when I changed to the LBX.

LV - acceptable price for multi car policy NX and LBX, just £5 more than my previous 2020 RX/UX combo.

With Churchill my LBX is £100 cheaper than a 5 year old NX300h.
