Spotted this on FB, not sure what the news headlines would read…"mature Lexus driver, meets would-be rally drive in lane".

Eveyone was ok and Peugeot was lifted off with a tractor, think the Lexus would be an uneconomical repair now ☹️☹️

Owner said he was going to speak with his insurance, I would have fixing it and keep away from insurance. 
         Insurance wise, it could have been bought back but would be classified as a Cat C and worth less on resale .

   Fixing it might cost 2k but with a retail of upto 8k…. Decisions decisions !

A more satisfying headline might be:

 Lexus driver cleared by dashcam evidence.

If indeed it was just panels and hadn’t crapped out all the non-existent chassis stuff, steering and masses of all else ….. these “ write-offs” are rarely simplistic and straightforward sadly ……. But maybe worth buying it back from the insurers for the insce Excess that they’ll impose ……. and the owner gets the w/o and a few thousand ££££ maybe 🤔

Get one’s own Loss adjuster to advise perhaps 🤔

She has been going on about it for years Len along with “bingo wings” and a “tummy tuck” It’s when I tell her you can’t improve on perfection like a Lexus that she hits me!
