I've made a hard decision. It's time to let the old girl go. At the end of this we will be together no more. I can only hope a younger model is as dependable. If anyone needs a set of extra wheels let me know soon.

Why....why oh why......I fancied something with a few more frills, some extra buttons to press, the feel of a different motor carrying me away. You can't have two....can you?

it’s fun to have more than one car …… if it’s affordable etc 🤔

I simply use my two Ls400s every other day as my main cars ……. No favouritism here 😄

I'm trying to get my IS300 restored, but I'm depressed by garages who say "it's not worth it", because it is worth it to me, I love the car, it still drives brilliantly.

They are very reliable cars. If you can do any restoration work yourself that should keep the cost down. If you are changing the timing belt I have the tools, plus all the oils, etc. for a service. I recently changed all the parts of the front brakes, it was easy.

Thank you Taffellis, the timing belt has been done. 

I'm trying to get parts from breakers, because it's my second 'fun' car, and I'm trying to keep costs down because I don't drive it very often.

I love this car, I've owned it for 20 years, I just can't bear to part with it.
