LS 460 / 600

Good Day all - looking to get a new daily - interested in a LS 460 or 600 - any thoughts on what to look for, are any particular models or years that were considered better than others...any advice appreciated.

Facelift is better than pre-facelift.

Believe the facelift for the 600h is post 2010.

Find some local to you in your budget range and go test drive them.
I did 6 years ago and of those I tested I preferred the one I bought, but I test drove LS400s, LS430s (pre-and post facelift) and LS460s (pre-facelift).
Personally I found the electric power steering in the LS460 to be "numb" and I found the LS400 too floaty.
The facelift LS430 was the sweet-spot for me with excellent comfort, quietness, but still fun in the twisties (for a 2 ton behemoth).

Be interested to hear your  thoughts whatever you test and see how it compares to ES 300h, which  I am possibly thinking of getting some time (even given Canbus issues).

I never owned a 430 but been a passenger in a few and I can see why some think they were the sweet spot, on the 400 front, once I had various bushes sorted the floaty feeling was not there, which the wife noticed much more than I did.
