Hearing aids CarPlay & me

I wasn’t sure where to post this because it’s not really Lexus related but in a Lexus, is there anyone on here that use hearing aids, I am a deaf old sod and my hearing aids are connected to my Iphone via BT so I get phone calls and navigation directions in my aids but my new car 21 plate has carplay and it’s nice to see the map on the nav screen but the  directions come through car speakers not my aids whatever I try, I would prefer the directions through my aids.

so if anyone has any advice that would be great.

Sorry for a somewhat late reply Derek but just today read your post.

As a similar deaf old sod ! I too have my Samsung Ultra connected via Bluetooth for taking calls direct to my HA along with TV connector etc.

When I am in the car all calls and sat nav directions come through the normal car speakers and I can usually hear them OK with sound turned up !

Not sure that you can have same streaming [sat nav directions etc] through the car media as in so doing would interfear with hearing both passengers and sounds outside the vehicle.
