@Robertas Z. , hi. Yes the wiper motor was replaced under warranty as it contains the software for the intermittent wipe function. Your dealer should contact Lexus UK as it’s recognised as a known issue.

@Xez, thank for your reply.

I have one more kinda related problem with the RX. According to the owner's manual automatic lights are linked to the wipers, i.e.  the lights should turn on when the wipers are operating, but that doesn't happen. What's your experience with this?

@Robertas Z. tbh I wasn’t aware of this function and haven’t actually noticed it in operation. I’ll pay particular attention in future and see if it is working correctly. Until the next rain…. 😀

Yep, forgot about the bottom of the doors getting filthy, but it does keep the sill clean so your leg doesn’t get covered, (looking at you Audi with your sill steps).

Fuel tank is meant to be 65ltr. At 0 range the most I’ve got in it is 50ltr, right to the top of the pipe, so it must have 3+ gallon still in it, crazy.

I almost got stuck out of the car in recent snow, could not get the door handle button to press in, so couldn’t open the door, it was cold and would not move. Eventually was able to squeeze it enough to pop the lock, then wrenched the door open. It is poor.

I can confirm the sill steps stop any instrusion into the RX door shuts, mine stay spotless and look good in my opinion. I didn't buy it new but the car was ordered with the protection package, so assume they were part of it.
