This isn't a problem guys but when my car mists up inside these rings are clearly visible. Any ideas what caused them?

I thought maybe it had a replacement at some time and these are sucker marks but it's a Lexus marked windscreen. I do clean the inside window but they always appear, a bit like Crop Circles!😱

It may be from the original construction of course but I think the 'robots' wouldn't need to leave so many marks and why on the inside?

SatNav holder suction marks.

The picture may not be that clear but they're all over the screen. Not really where someone would stick a phone holder as it would be in the line of sight. Car has Sat Nav too! It's an odd one. Also, why don't they clean off? They return after every clean!

Did you buy your car new ?

Only asking, maybe it had been used by the motoring press TV shows (TG, YouTube and the like) prior to you taking ownership ?

It was 10 months old when I bought it. Slightly high mileage for its age but as I do about 5k a year it will soon level out. Sadly I don't know the previous owner. It's only a premium sport so I doubt it would be of interest for TV unless it was one of those Youtubers!

You'll be surprised where some people stick their phones/satnavs on the windscreens 🤔

I have seen them right in front of the driver before, but I guess it depends on how tall the previous driver(s) were and how close they sat to the windscreen.  Some people prefer to use their own sat nav and some like to have their phone in a cradle and not use the built in Bluetooth system.

Have you tried something like methylated spirits to see if that cuts through the marks?

Sale price on the inside of the screen. Removed and replaced every time the car was moved in the dealership?

I've had these before with other manufacturers. I put it down to the suction cups holding the windscreen during assembly. I could be wrong.

Try using this. It's for use on acrylic windows so doesn't scratch glass. It brings windscreens inside and out up as if there is no glass there at all. I use on the outside of my front windscreen every 3 months or so it removes every trace of oily deposits.PI-100029281-2307141433.thumb.jpg.29fc4b9de0203115afc0332d347cee10.jpg
