Annoyingly - I only realized after I got my NX350h that the dealer didn't even include a boot liner (carpet) as part of my Takumi NX.

anyway, I am trying to decide if there is a good aftermarket option or If I should go for the overpriced genuine ones. I wouldn't mind a rubber one.

* PW241-78002 NXP2: this is the genuine rubber one. seems very expensive (£100) and looks very flimsy. in the USA they have a different boot liner which is much better plastic - but not available here (PT908-78220-02) https://lexuspartsdirect.co.uk/product/lexus-nx-phase-2-boot-liner/

* Genuine carpet: PT206-78225-50 NXP2  https://lexuspartsdirect.co.uk/product/lexus-nx-phase-2-boot-mat/. I couldn't find any picture how this actually looks, seems to have the logo on it. £80

* I had a look at these people, but the template they sent me does not fit at all: https://www.carmats4u.com/to-fit-lexus-nx-including-hybrid-2021-onwards-durable-rubber-boot-mat.html.

any recommendations?

Lexus rubber one which came with the “protection pack” on my 450h is very flimsy. Not recommended by my & not a patch on the much more heavy duty Lexus one which I had on my RX450.

I had the option of getting the protection pack with my NX at the time of ordering but decided against it at the time as the salesman was quoting me something like an extra £10 per month on my monthly payments...

I decided to order the boot liner separately after I got the car...

This is the one I have. Indeed, expensive but it does fit more or less perfectly.

I have to agree with @RXtoNX. Compared to the equivalent 'official' one I had in my previous UX - it does feel rather 'thin' and lightweight in comparison. The rubbery surface of it feels about the same, but whatever backing it's been put onto is certainly a thinner plastic than I remember the one in my UX being. It'll do the job fine, but for £100 - I did expect it to feel more 'robust' than it does.

@szhrmp Have you looked at the parts from the official Lexus eBay accessories store? It seems odd, but Lexus UK use an eBay site for genuine Lexus parts. I purchased a new set of cabin mats for my NX this way. Yes it's a bit pricey, but it's worth it for the "real deal" and it fits perfectly.

The link to the eBay seller is available via the Lexus.co.uk site via owners > parts & accessories > accessories link so it is bona fide: https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/lexusofficialstore

I can only see a rubber one available here for your vehicle: Lexus NX Accessories | Trunk Liner | 2021- | PW24178002- which is also coming in at around £100. You will have peace of mind via this route if there are any issues down the road.

Good luck.

As has been said above, the official Lexus ones are quite poor quality these days - you can get a better product for less money elsewhere.
