This is a wee bit different moulding than mine. More of a ridge runs across mine above the red circles.

This is getting very boringworthy!

Try fitting it without that grey panel in place …just to see how it looks 👍🏻

…and that photo I took off a USA site as an example, so might be different from UK models 👍🏻

It fits and the boot closes. Job done.

Will make the template when I find some cardboard.

Cardboard is the way to go as you only one chance with the grey mat 👍🏻👍🏻

if you want to go the full hog…here is some edging trim .

Nice work. That looks very neat indeed.

Replaced the missing headlight washer cap. Pretty straightforward but without the internet I would not have had a clue!

A bit lot like that. Quite a strong spring action. You can do it without a clamp if you don't have a camera in your other hand!

Looking to replace all 4 shocks next. After consideration I think I will not be going down the coilover route.

Best price I can find for genuine Lexus shocks is here.

Anyone know a cheaper supplier?

And what trade price does LPD give to garages?

Front SKU 48510-80423

Rear SKU 48530-80244

And how many hours garage labour?

4 shocks plus front brake pads.

Hour per side for fronts, bit longer on the rear as all the boot lining has to come out first .

pads 1/2hr.

See if I can get it done for a grand all in

You could if you buy some spanner’s and a socket set 😉

…Good to see so many alternatives to buying from Lexus 👍🏻

I have changed shocks and springs on my Saabs in the past all by myself. Getting too lazy for that malarkey now.

M25 and M11 joy today, and some rain. 280 miles so getting used to it now. Comfy high speed cruiser, no wobbles or vibrations. Collected even more stuff for the big clean up.

Glad the SC is getting your seal of approval now, they do munch up the miles very easily 👍🏻

Obviously when I put the radio on the antenna refused to retract after happily deploying!

Some pics after a bit of a wash.
