Lexus 450h Tacuma Stolen - Surrey- 2024 Warning

Recommended Posts

This may shed light on the recent recall notice to those with plates fitted (affects all RX4 models as they are the car referred to in the article linked to)

I've asked Lexus service to investigate and will report back in due course.

Well, all this talk of security devices, to protect what is probably our second most expensive investment, quite frankly is disgraceful.

We put or trust and faith in purchasing, what for the motoring press, is a left field choice, a Lexus.
I feel we are entitled to be annoyed, angry and let down by the brand.

Not only has our investment dropped frighteningly in value, and we are raped by the Insurance industry, we now appear to have many RX450h owners suffering fear and anxiety, and talking about extreme lengths to protect their vehicles.

Where are you LEXUS, are you proud of your response to your loyal customers, because I fear you may be losing more customers customers than Rishi Sunak votes!

We have paid a lot of our hard earned cash to purchase one of your vehicles, we have paid additional cash out to add immobilisers, cameras, steering locks, and have a right to expect better while you are sitting on your hands.

Lexus have responded and say that all outstanding "recall" notices are in relation to the steel plate fitment, and it's just that Lexus UK's website hasn't bothered being updated once the work is done.  The dealerships record the work and that's then on the Lexus UK database for that car.

In relation to the article above, Lexus have responded and say that it was in relation to non-European and US market cars, and did not affect any car sold in the UK.
