I keep reading about techstream. Is that an app.? or a a separate gadget? I got a Mucar CS for OBD11, but don't think it works on Lexus.

Sounds amazing and perhaps one to give a fuller life to the next lucky owner

Sad the existing guy couldn’t get much fuller benefit from his great car …….. should have 200k+ miles on the clock by now 🤔

Would be one for me if I’d decided to buy a Sc430

Wondered that about location pics. Also wondered a bit about full respray and all wheel refurbish, but V5 will confirm ownership.

Perhaps he'd just been through the car wash, and thought he'd grab the pictures while it was shiny?

Looking at the mot history between 2008 to 2015 its done 103 miles total😮, so it had an easy life 😉

Currently no tax or mot .

Perhaps the owner lived abroad for those 7 years? - was the MOT done annually? or a gap?

Posted

Only missed one mot in 2014. Could be a very genuine and clean example 👍🏻

Not that it’s that relevant as it’s not a home address but the tyre shop on the other side of the road looks like its called DALIN CAR CARE…can be looked up on Google maps to give an idea of vehicles location.

He probably owns the tyre shop and the petrol station too 🤔 ……and lives round the back ……. never had too far to go to work 💥

To be fair, although he says he's had it since new, the ad does say one prev owner.

To be fair he says he "bought it brand new from the showroom". He clearly did not. The fact that it has been owned for 20 years makes me wonder why bother with that small untruth? You would have thought declaring he has owned it for 20 years would have been enough in itself to make it more saleable.

Makes me wonder who actually did the write-up ……. maybe a son who’s only ever known his father to have this car ……. from nearly new ……. kids do over-egg things sometimes ……. probably give him the benefit of the doubt if the car is actually ok ……… but the full respray 🤔……. might have sorted a host of niggles whatever 😊

Anyone here going to view ?

No indication of reserve.

Any blind bidders are pretty much at their top limit.

Any folk who have gone to see the car will have already made their offers.

Not sure this will sell.

It’s had a respray…so that could be anything from a trade blowover to sell…or a 5k+ all trim all panels off job 🤔

The write up is written in the first person.
