OK frustrated V8 fans I have found your next mode of transport - The GWM Souo from China.

Flat 8 cylinders 2000cc -

Great Wall Motor's Eights | Cycle World

The known specifications of the bikes are, in every instance, a step up compared to the Honda. Where the Gold Wing has an 1,833cc engine, the Souo has a 2,000cc one. Honda uses a seven-speed dual-clutch, semi-auto transmission. Souo has an eight-speed DCT. The Gold Wing has single overhead camshafts, while the Souo uses a DOHC layout, and most importantly the Honda has “only” six cylinders, and the Chinese rival uses eight.

Ah but would you want to patronise China over Japan ?
Not for me for sure 🤫

But then I’d be catastrophic on a bike 🤣

Actually seen much worse MOT histories than the Green Godess. All the signs are this has been somebodys daily ride for the last 7 years ish. I take that as a good sign. Just a little blip of 5 months or so of in the MOT history , but hard to see why this might be a problem. The mileage all tallies so at worst somebody drove without MOT for awhile, or may be it was Sorned. If it was closer to me I'd be out for a look, but instead I will have to see if it still around in a couple of weeks.

Wow, rare colour and cheap. I had a BMW Z3 M Coupe in the same colour which I loved. I only sold it because I rarely used it. In hindsight I should have keep it as they are worth a fortune now. Even though I don’t use the SC much either it’s not going anywhere although I can’t see them going up much in value but it’s a much nicer car to drive than the BMW was.

It was taken in P/X according to the advert. Still it certainly looks priced to sell.

I might be deceased if I bought another one.

For a very modest fee I could enrol you in my school for forlorn huubbies aptly called "Charmed R Us". Never be concerned about spousal rage ever again. Consign your manshed to the storage of tools et al rather than a bunker facility.

That belongs to Nick or nicnac as he was on the Lexus World site.

light restoration top to bottom , totally painted underside, new brakes , genuine full exhaust, reluctor rings replace , new genuine wheels, new tyres ,as Nicks a retired aircraft engineer I can’t see someone buying a better more pampered car .

Nick just need to decide what’s it now

worth .

When I bought my SC 3 years ago I didn’t even mention to my wife I was tentatively looking at buying another car. I just told her that I had seen a car for sale and was ringing up the next day to buy it. Bad timing as we were going on holiday the same day. I think she is just about over it now bless her.

It’s a shame Lexusworld went tit’s up there were such nice people on it and an enormous amount of useful information. Love the Tourmaline wheels on Nick’s car I did consider getting those myself but they are not easy to find.

Ha, but that is just the 1 of the Charmed 101 class. Just think what you can do with the other 100! You too can make spousal fury a thing of the past. Indeed, in step 69 she will be asking you to buy that car.

Ah, phew. Was getting concerned why the green one was giveaway. Only one I found on eBay or autotrader below £5G was the one where the owner is emigrating… leaves mine open for a 4500 Ono? Cmon , somebody there wants it, doncha?

That's not N Ireland. The sun is shining. I rest my case (preferably at the airport en route to sunnier climates).

I think it is fair to say 134k on the clock for the Green Godess is a limiting factor. Personally not too bothered by that, but Mr Market tends to have a different view.

134k for the Lexus V8 at that age is a mere smidgeon …… go check it out with £1500 in your back pocket and it’s probably yours to drive away

Might be simply his profit on the p/ex he sold

Desperate for someone here, knowledgeable to go C it for us all please

Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a great little runner with tiny bits and bobs to bring it to eggzellent knic

Go4it sum1 please

Are they not Golf GTI wheels?

I think they are, or early 924. The green one, I wouldn't want at any price on Cat D.
