Off to Switzerland in three weeks!

Get those miles in before road tax goes over £1000!

Apparently cheaper than a mistress according to my wife.

Beautiful driving into and thru’ Switzerland …… the lakes there too …… just stunning the whole     Might be quite costly of course 🤣👍

the first swans nest I saw built into exposed tree roots on a lake bank …… hadn’t occurred to me how they nested before seeing that ……. lots of beauty in Swizzieland 😅

I’ve ventured there a few times over the decades 👌

Lots to ENJOY

The most beautiful thing about Switzerland is their style of political governance. We could learn a lot from them if we were not too 'thick as a brick' stupid to do so.

Switzerland and Western Austria are indeed beautiful especially in late Spring, but take a lot of readies with you as these places are quite pricey. We got stuck in Geneva for a couple of days/nights waiting for a flight - nearly bankrupted us..

BTW  Bavaria and the German/Italian Alps are a cheaper and equally beautiful alternative.

Heck, I can't afford mine at that rate.

Update - my roof wrap has bubbled up in 3 or 4 places.. well no, it was all on my driveway ... but will need to contact them, and I suspect get it removed and spray it after all 😞

I wondered at the price. When i looked at it it always appeared much more expensive that that cost you incurred. Does make me wonder from there at exactly how competent they were. Of course I know nothing about them other your wrap seems to have failed, but that with the cost does cause me pause for thought.

Quick calculation.

Drive 400 miles per year and car will cost you roughly £4.00 per mile.

Drive 6000 miles and it will cost about 50p per mile.

Lots get stolen for sure and the wheel bearings are often not up to scratch  🥵

Not sure the TPMS works either

I'm not sure. Both cost about £100 to fill.

Shows the last time you filled one at a supermarket ……. Lady in front of me at Aldi 2 days ago, brimming trolley …… just £150 🥵 ….. and she paid in cash !

It uses runflats ……. tyres ?

If you fill it with Swiss rolls and Swiss Cheeses 🧀 your wallet will feel emptier and easier to move around with 🤔

This white SC430 has a new set of photo’s. Do like the colour but would look better in my opinion with a black interior.

Few observations, rear badges in wrong place…so guess it’s had rear paintwork .

interior looking very neglected.

n/s reverse lamp punched in.

head lamps very faded..possibly needs new ones.

suspect f/bumper painted as fog lamp panels also been also painted.

16 of the 37 SC’s on Autotrader at the moment are silver so I guess that is the most common colour produced. Would love to see a green or bronze one but I guess they might not have offered those colours in the UK.

Saw a bronze SC with tan leather on Facebook for sale down in Wales. Bronze is not my go to colour ,  but with that colour leather it takes it to another level.

I don't think one ought to pitch their expectations too high as to condition based on that price. Yet I could forgive a bit for that colour. I go to London in a couple of weeks for Springsteen so if it is still around guess I will have to take a look.

Looks a very smart car ……. but it’s a car with interesting history I’m sure ……. you’ve just got to dig deep to see what it is and be happy to take a punt if that’s what you really wish

Price looks peanuts if the body and engineering is ok

Go4it someone  😂
