Ct200h front tyre puncture

Hi

looking for some advice on the flat tyre (not my car) and had vague info on it.

So I believe there is something rubbing the inside of the owner front wheel causing a slow puncture.

I pumped it up yesterday and it held its pressure ok from what I saw. I didn’t check the pressure.

i believe it’s had a new wheel and tyre and the same thing is occurring.

Wondering is this is a known issue with these?

 Cheers

That looks like it's been standing for years, and it wasn't cared for before that! The tyre would be the least of my concerns. There must be more to this.

The tyre isn't that old (week 41 2019) but Michelin do seem to suffer from sidewall cracking after a few years.

If you believe there is something causing wear on the inside it would be good to see a picture of that (maybe turn the steering to full lock).

Looks as has been said to be knackered. Cracking, split, between the top C and the H in MICHELIN, and seems to of spent it's life rubbing against kerbs. Side of tyre looks well worn, cracking.

New tyre time unfortunately. Check them all for splits.

Strange the OP said he believed it to be a new wheel and tyre, when its stamped 2019.

I suppose it could always point to a faulty pressure sensor valve
