Apologies for the long one but could do with some advice.

I have a 2013 lexus is300h. The hybrid Battery I've known to be weak. 2 days ago car was intermitted in speed. I went to 2 local reputable hybrid garages locally who told me the hybrid Battery check is fine, not bringing up any codes and the reason for this is code c1464 - Front speed sonsor RH circuit. (Badically I need a new bearing as the sensor in built).

My question is as I've been driving the lights have gone off, as cars fine. However in morning it throws the lights as normal. Is this the hybrid Battery or actually the wheel bearing. As both computers stated no code of the hybrid Battery.

I would love some advice on this

Hopefully you may still be in the 10 yr warranty period. Maybe more for the Battery??

Get lexus to check it out ( free health check I believe ).

Sometimes a bit of goodwill is available  from Lexus but that was years ago - maybe times have changed.

Best of luck fingers crossed

Just out of curiosity why do you say the Battery is weak? I mean what symptoms is this based on? It sounds like the Hybrid Battery is fine. Inconsistent speedometer readings and a check engine light is a classic symptom of a bad wheel speed sensor. And if the hybrid Battery was bad it would tell you "check hybrid system" or something of that sort and would also be picked up on a scanner.

If you want a second opinion then perhaps take it to lexus. A hybrid health check is free with a service or costs ~£50 or so if you want to get it done separately if it passes the hybrid health check you can get warranty on your hybrid Battery for up to 15 years. The only condition is you need to get a hybrid health check once every year cant remember if it was unlimited mileage or up to 150000 miles. So might be a good investment if you plan to keep the car for a while and you meet the conditions set out.

That being said your symptoms don't sound like a bad Battery

Hybrid Battery warranty is up to 15 years and unlimited mileage so long as the hybrid health check is done every 12 months or 10,000 miles (whichever come soonest).
