I'm thinking of buying a new RX350H, I've driven the car and I like how it handles, apart from the bings and bongs.

My concern is the previous generation being susceptible to Canbus theft. I read somewhere that the new model has an encryted Canbus.

Can you wise people on this forum advise me if this is true, and if possible direct me to the source. I've asked the dealer who said he would take it up with Lexus, but I'm still waiting for a response.

Thanks

I've recently acquired the latest RX450 and my dealer informed me that it doesn't have the canbus issues of previous generations.  I presume it would be the same for the latest RX350 but please don't quote me.
