Some posts on this forum are quite amusing, but having your car stolen is certainly not one of them, although it has not happened to me, (purely by fortune rather than Lexus engineering).

Lexus need to get their act together and take some serious action re the can bus issue.

Cars have been stolen for generations and thieves will innovate to overcome whatever obstacles there are …….!and there’s usually an end-buyer here or abroad 

I’m reading a crime book ( written in 1933 ) of the theft of a 1932 Comet car and the hard-nosed police investigations ….., there was of course murder involved too 👍

Car Crime seems to have always taken place 🥵

where there’s value there’s theft whatever the asset and the steps put in place to try to stop it 

Its just that car crime seems to be at the lower end of importance in using scarce police resources 

Even older cars get stolen I'm sure !   Hopefully not mine 🤔
