Upgrade firmware of IS300h

Guys I owe a 2014 Lexus is300h f sport with no navigation and I want to update the firmware to the latest version. 

 

Where can I get this?

I will really appreciate your help on this.

Is this premium navi? I don't recognize these versions, I've got standard. 

I think an actual software update for the operating system is a dealer service thing. Unsure how to check what's their latest firmware, carmakers are rubbish at IT and Lexus is no exception. With standard navigation, there is sod all you can do here....will never my life understand these backward carmaker policies...

Ditto. Specially when it's such an important part of people's everyday.

I guess they lack the incentives to do better, because what are you going to do? Return the car? You cannot.

I have the premium screen and every now and then, while driving and with the map on screen, i see a message at the top of the screen saying "could not be downloaded", which I don't understand nor I know what it refers to.

The map version is up to date though, and the Bluetooth connected to my phone (and to my lexus link account!)

There is no navigation. Just the sport standard screen. 

It's just the dealer says that there is not upgrade but his is very weird since the date of the car is 2014 with no upgrades in the meantime.

Not sure if there is an upgrade or not but Lexus in general don’t tend to perform upgrades until you state you have a specific issue that is addressed by an upgrade. They operate differently to other manufacturers in this respect.
