MY24 lane change assist not working

Hi, 

just wondered if anyone has used Lane change assist ? It’s listed on the spec and looking at YouTube there is supposed to be a setting under I think driver assist that allows you to turn it off and on.  The setting on the video I saw (US) does not exist on my car.  The dealer has been helpful and got a colleague who has used this function previously and it doesn’t work on their car either.  I am not sure what the previous car was, but the dealer is trying to find out more information.  I have also emailed customer relations who are normally quick to respond but nothing after a day so far.

I wonder if a master setting has been turned off that I cannot see.

Has anyone else tried or uses it ?

I think it depends on what spec you have. 
mine has lane trace assist (LTA) which only works when you have ACC on. 
 I think lane change assist is on premium plus and above.

Good point it is not available on all specs but definitely should be there on Takumi but doesn’t appear to be

I’ve used it on our F Sport 450h but only to test it, I honestly can’t say it is something that I would want to use in normal driving conditions.

As @Gaazzared mentions, I think you need ACC to be on then there’s a switch on the steering wheel which turns lane trace on/off. When everything is set the car will change lanes with the use of the indicator. 
That’s why I can’t understand the point of many of these gizmos, you need to use the indicator so why not just nudge the wheel a little at the same time? 🙄

Lane Change Assist isn’t included with Premium Plus, just Takumi (or F Sport with Takumi pack).

Just one of the reasons why we went for the Premium Plus and not the Takumi NX350h.

Things I don't need:

- Self parking

- Rear view camera

- LCA

- Much higher price...
