Suggestions where to buy or go for TPMS sensor replacement

Recommended Posts

Hi all

My late 2013 IS300H has the blinking TPMS warning light so sounds like I need to replace one of them (no idea which one!), has anyone had this done and can recommend anywhere?

I was thinking either buy the sensor from Toyota or Lexus and get someone like F1 to fit or just go to a tyre place and get them to supply and fit, I normally only use genuine Lexus parts but for a TPMS sensor maybe OEM will also suffice i'm thinking..

Or if we know who manfactureres the Lexus TPMS sensor I can try and see if its cheaper for that brand, trying to avoid paying £85 just for the part if the £40 is also good quality.

Advice appreciated 🙂

Correct me if I am wrong but does the TPMS sensors not need To Be Incorporated with the on Board Computer System and the Question is could  any Garage complete this task successfully...

Yep that is correct, my understanding is non dealers can do this quite easily though 🙂

When I had a TPMS valve snapped off by a well-meaning passerby,  I fitted the SpaceSaver on and drove round to a nearby large tyre retailer.

They were indeed able to fit and register an OEM replacement for £65.  So that would certainly be my first port of call!
