Hi All, I was wondering if anyone can instruct me on how to remove the rear seat off my IS300H please?

I’m looking to carry out some work/modifications to the rear armrest but need to remove the seats fully.

Thanks in advance.

On the isf you just use brute force and pull it off the clips:hammer:

Thanks, I take it that it’s the same for non sport models then. Also, is it a pull off method to remove both base and back sections?

Yes it was base and back.  I would check your model first just in case there is a hidden fastener, but for me, they just popped out and popped back in.

I was searching for a rattling noise.

Hope it works!

Normally base you just pull up and then you should see the bolts for the back, not sure if Lexus decided not to use the bolts on IS mk3, but on mk2 there are 4 or 6 bolts to remove backs if memory serves (or I may be confusing that with the bolts that holds the seatbelts, but in either case you would need them removed to b able to remove the seat).

Took mine off after my son spilled some water. Wanted to dry it.
Just needs a good tug to get it off. No bolts to undo.

2013 Is300h F-Sport in case it’s changed on facelifts.

Tug the driver side rear seat up, do the same on the passenger side, put a bit of elbow grease Into, once both side have lifted up pull remainder of back and lift out.
