NX350h bluetooth. iPhone has to be connected every time

Recommended Posts

NX350h. I get in. I navigate through settings to 'bluetooth'. I connect my Iphone (15Pro IOS 17.0.3) in Bluetooth. Success. CarPlay fires up. All well.
Next time I get in & start the car, I have to do the same again.
If I connect my phone via Bluetooth, should I need to connect every time I use the car, in this way? Or am I missing something?

Hi JP, I don't have an Iphone - I'm an android man. Mine works fine so I wonder if you've not set up your phone in the Settings - "Personal Info" as the Main Devices i.e. linked so your phone will always then be the primary device and it will then remember it as such.

The Bluetooth option you are going to is for adding additional devices so I don't think you need to do this for your phone.

If you do it your way by going straight  to the Bluetooth option it's probably just seeing a new phone every time you get in and turn on the car?

Have you connected your car to the Lexus link App too?

Hi CGJ Thanks... yep car linked to Lexus app fine.

Will revisit & have a little patience, see if the phone just connects after a little while.

If not, will prob 'forget' the phone & start the process again
