Hope there is a special place in hell for these people. Mario is it appropriate to ask for a very general location?

Also, it might help you to give some car details. Some of us (me) spend a fair amount of time looking at SC430's and if we see anything new that might be yours we can report back.

Really sorry my lad, you must be gutted.

I hope you get it back OK.  The SC  is an unusual target so I am surprised as it is not that easy to move on and generally they are not high value now. Mine is in the road and i am a bit paranoid so I use a Disklok, have a tracker fitted and when I remove my throttle controller even if you manage to start the engine it won’t respond to any accelerator input and stays on idle.

I have to say I would be absolutely gutted if this happened to me.

That's terrible news. I was looking to make a post wondering just how good the immobiliser is and how secure a stock SC430 is? i guess i have my answer. I would be happy to help keep a look out. I live in the Midlands and do 1,500 business miles per week up and down the UK (not in the 430). Since we purchased ours in early August i havent seen another 430 on the road anywhere. I was wondering how many are left on UK roads, i guess like mine it spends most of its life parked up in my garage?

Hope you get it back

Sorry for delay in replying.

My car was found three weeks later about a mile from my London home.  So about two weeks after my post.  Seems it was taken by ‘joy riders’.  It was involved in an accident being driven too fast.  Write off two cars parked.   My car written off by insurance.  The said it is a right off but it did not have much damage to panels by witness accounts.  I am gutted as it had great sentimental value, belonged to a friend of mine , previously since passed.  I have still not been paid out as there was the wrong address on my driving licence (forgot to change it with DVLA).

I still do not know how they stole it so easily as I had both keys in my possession.  I really missed that car so much especially on a warm summer day.  I have since bought another one as a second car and have blocked it in on my drive and am wondering what extra security measures to take to protect it.  I have disconnected the Battery for an initial step.  Thank you for all you kind comments.

What’s the replacement car , got any photos 👍🏻
Stop lock pro steering wheel lock would be a good deterrent.

Wrong address on driving licence?

Why would that invalidate your insurance ?

Never heard of this before , ever .

Did you tell your insurer of your new address? This is more likely to cause them to query a claim as it materially affects risk. Your licence being wrong is a technical offence.

I have made claims , one a total loss and my licence still has my mom and dad's old address from 40 years ago , I have lived in 6 or 7 other properties since then , not sure why this would invalidate your insurance.
